Dear all,

This patient had gone somewhere else for wisdom tooth extraction. The dentist extracted the wisdom tooth but a root piece was left inside.

The patinet now has pain which radiates to the forehead.He also has difficulty in mouth opening. I have prescribed antibiotics and NSAID’s with muscle relaxant. with that he has only transient relief.

Now I have prescribed him higher antibiotics.

The patient is coming tomoorrow.

What should be my line of treatment.

Please advise.

These are the intra oral camera photos. the patient is too poor to go to an oral surgeon. even with higher antibiotics he is nothaving complete pain relief.

any help would be appreciated.
