New Dental hospital chain to come up

Confident Dental Care (CDC), a multi-specialty dental care centre, is in talks with the Maharashtra and Punjab governments to set up dental hospitals on a public-private-partnership (PPP) basis. CDC aims to train young dental professionals to handle around 200 dental hospitals.

“We are looking at preventive care. A little bit of investment can go a long way in detecting diseases at an early stage,” said CDC director Dr M Saphal Shetty.

Confident Dental Care Academy was inaugurated by chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda on Thursday.
