    Hi all,

Just wanted to post a case depicting a rather largish cusp of carabelli and sealants being placed in the fissure. Sealants must be introduced in every general dental practice. They are the need of the hour. However it is recognised fact that the retention of sealants is not all that satisfactory. After placement of sealants regular checkups are a must.

    Regards,

    Dr. Veerendra Darakh

Pits and fissures are highly susceptible to caries, as even the best of oral hygiene measures are often inadequately effective in these areas. These susceptible areas can be protected by sealing them with Helioseal, Helioseal F, or Helioseal Clear. The Helioseal range protects fissures by forming an impenetrable layer
