    There is a lot of hype being made about India being the hot favourite for the forthcoming world cup..and more so because this time its in India..even in the last world cup India was considered one of the favourites but it lost to bangladesh not even qualifying for the super six..what do you guys have to say about this?

    If some big goof up happens in the security this time, India as a venue will be banned from cricket because a lot has been encountered in the past..

    I agree that everything ultimately boils down to money but this game is like a religion in India and people have readily overlooked its commercialisation..

    World Cup 2011 Schedule & Timetable:

    The ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will be held by in the sub-continent South Asian countries: India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai will be hosting the final of the Cricket World Cup 2011.

    ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 shedule has been released and the mega event will be held from the 19th of February to the 2nd of April in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

    The first match of ICC World Cup 2011 begings between India vs Bangladesh on Feb 19, 2011 onwards.

    If India doesnt go far in this world cup, it’ll be because of its bowlers..they lack the kind of attack other teams have..Indian bowlers are as good as bowlers from the small countries like netherlands and kenya..

    The news channels are already cursing dhoni for bad captaincy..i dont think he’s a bad captain..i really like the way he maintains his cool on the field..it would have been terribly difficult for him to decide whom to hand over the bowl in the final over..it was just pure luck that the batsman connected the bowl and managed to put it over the ropes..these news channels dont realize what kind of pressure the captain is under in such crunch games..
