    What mouthwash should be prescribed for edentulous patients? I’ve heard chlorhexidine is not advised..What is the reason?

    gumex and normal salt water gargling is enough………..

    Chlorhexidine is pretty strong and mainly action is on teeth and embrasure areas
    ao no point in prescribing to edentulous
    salt waterr gargles is a good option

    gumex is just a gum paint
    I dont think it can alter taste sensation…chlorhexidine is more notoriously known for that…
