Medicine as a profession is seeing great decline in the no. of students taking up this course..this was evident with the low cut offs in medical and dental colleges this year..also the boys-girls ratio is changing drastically..with a 1:1 ratio some 5 years back, its becoming almost 1:4 in favour of the girls..
