    Also called as Benign migratory glossitis
     Mucosa sensitive for hot/spicy foods

     White patch, which develops central erythmatous atrophic zone and enlarges centrifugally with a raised white border

     When the lesions occur in elsewhere in the oral cavity they are referred to as
    – Ectopic geographic tongue,
    – Erythema circinata migrans
    – Annulus migrans.

    Management
    – Topical lidocaine
    – Topical application of salicylic acid
    – Tretinion
    – Multivitamins and
    – Anticandidal drugs are used.
    0.5% aqu. dycyclonine HCL/diphenhydramine as a mouth rinse over crushed ice before meals.
