although lignocaine sensitive patients are rare, one should always take proper history and perform the sensitivity test prior to administering the LA ,., ,. if the patient is allergic to esters then try amides and vice versa ., ., in case the patient is allergic to both then dichlorophenhydrine is an alternative ., ., in cases of allergic reaction do not administer any more LA and prescribe antihistaminics (AVIL101) to the patient .,. , make a bold note (preferably with red ink) in his papers about his allergy and counsell him regarding the same . ,. , regards ., .,
