Diagnostic Aspects:
Chronic Irreversible Pulpitis is diagnosed clinically on the basis of long standing persistent pain which persists even after the removal of thre stimulus, usually the tooth will be carious or having a large/faulty restoration
The tooth with the necrosed pulp may be discolored (Pink Tooth), IOPA show widened pulp chambers and finally electric pulp tester aids in diagnosis
