Mechanism:-
Lingual lipase uses a catalytic triad consisting of Aspartatic Acid-203 (Asp), Histidine-257 (His), and Serine-144 (Ser), to initiate the hydrolysis of a triglyceride into a diacyglyceride and a free fatty acid.
