Greetings to all ye eminent Endodontists,

Female patient  :-  Age 26 years.  No relevant medical history.

H/O Trauma on upper right central many years back.

I want to know if surgery can be awarded for this patient and can this lesion be treated only by Endo.

If surgery (apicoectomy) is required then is it necessary to fill the space with bone grafts.

Patient is asymptomatic but a draining sinus appeared after 2 days after I started endo  on upper right lateral incisor.  It has now regressed.

The first is the pretreatment Xray and the 2nd is after about 3 weeks of endo .

RCF has still to be done. Patient is absolutely asymptomatic. Hope to see many responses and many thanks in advance for the same.

Thanks and best regards,

Dr. Veerendra Darakh
