A single canine cross bite can be the cause of TMJ dysfunction….it can be treated by correcting the canine cross bite through orthodontic therapy…..

any tooth in cross bite can be a cause of TMJ dysfuction. however not all cross bites r a cause of TMJ dysfunction.

treatment is sought by patients mostly for esthetic reasons. TMJ dysfunction due to cross bite may take some time to develop.

What is the incidence rate of MPDS in general population? I would like someone who has come across a case of MPDS to share the practical treatment given to that particular patient…thanks.
