what are C-shaped canals ? ? ? how to identify them ?? ? what is the protocol followed while RCT of these canals ? ? ?

there seems to be a general confusion as to whether the term C-shaped is used for vertically curved canals (as visible in the IOPA) or for canals which appear as C-shaped in the cavity after access opening (as described in the link posted by dr shah). could someone give some clarity over this and also enlighten a bit more on C-shaped canals.
