Seems like a clear case of gingival enlargement….history may reveal the diagnosis..

seems to be a case of severe gingivitis/periodontitis (if mobility present) or a case of gingival enlargement ., ., would love to see the iopa, if possible, for more accurate diagnosis

what is the medical history ? is the patient on anti-epilectic drugs

Medical history of the patient was non-significant, neither he was on any anti-epileptic drugs

What are the other signs/symptoms?…like mobility, pain, suppuration etc..

You can see in clearly in picture that, there were local factors like calculus, extruded right central incisor, along with this patient was having generalised grade 1 mobility in all teeth, dull aching continous pain and pus can be elucidated fron the gingival crevice

A severe case of periodontitis may be…thats what the iopa suggests…

You are correct doc,
As the patient is not having any underlying medical illness, no history of medication with no relevant family history. Clinically there sufficient local factors and radiographically there was bone loss i have diagnosed this case as rapidly progressing periodontitis

thanks a lot Dr. Santosh…that was quite an interesting case…i request all the doctors to post some clinical cases with photographs and other details so that it becomes kind of clinically interesting..
