If you treat TMJ dysfunction with Botox, you need to read this artilce. Apparantly, while Botox is safe for cosmetic applications, it may not be the best option for neuromuscular disorders. The Physicians Coalition for Injectible Safety reports that Botox and Mybloc injections as neuromuscular therapy can cause complications.
