Dear Dentist,
Dental Council of India (DCI) has introduced credit point system on the scientific conferences & workshops recognized by them, after collecting specific credit points (100 points in 5 years) your DCI registration renewal will be done otherwise not.
This is absolutely wrong & only supporting the business of conferences and scientific activities in dentistry.

Attaining conference or scientific event should be by choice not by pressure…so before this rule hits you lets stop this business of conferences and scientific activities.

I have been constantly getting such messages saying that i will earn a certain no. of credit points if i enroll for a particular workshop..i dint know the purpose of these credit points unless i read the above post..

Who decides whether attendance in a particular speaker /lecturers courses can get you CE credits ?

what is the methodology and the criteria of selecting speakers ?

I have sent an email to Dr.Akash Akinwar supporting him in this protest i urge all my fellow dentists to do the same…..
Let him represent us against this forced system….

The IDA should be more sensitive to our needs since it represents all of us
