    Oral lesions are common in discoid lupus erythematosus. They typically appear on the tongue, buccal mucosa, and palate as erythematous areas with white spots and radiating white striae.     ORAL MANIFESTATIONS OF DLE::

    There may be burning sensation and tenderness and lesions may show fine white striae
    Whereas lesions on lips show erythematous atrophic plaque with keratotic borders
