Sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today raided three dental colleges in connection with the bribe given to members of the Dental Council of India (DCI) for starting Post Graduate courses. Agency sources said the simultaneous raids which began at around noon, were still continuing. The raids were being conducted at Thaai Moogambigai Dental College at Chengalpattu, about 60 km from here, Asan Memorial Dental College and Hospital at Mogappair area in the city and JKK Nataraja Dental College on the ECR. The raids followed the arrest of two DCI members Dr S Murugesan and Dr S Gunaseelan for demanding a bribe of Rs one crore and accepting the first instalment of Rs 25 lakh from the Adi Parasakthi Dental College at Melmaruvathur, about 110 km from here, for starting PG Courses.
