What does alveogyl contain and how is its action/content different from abgel?
i do not exactly know what it contains but it acts on the nerve endings and sort of anethtsizes them and thus provides relief.
abgel is to protect and stabilize the blood clot after extraction.
abgel should not be used in diabetics. most of the time if you suture the extraction wound properly than there is no need for abgel.
