With the ScanX Quantum, there is no longer any need to deal with recurring costs of film, chemistry, darkrooms or processor maintenance. The ScanX Quantum is a computed radiography system; instead of traditional film it utilizes durable, flexible phosphor storage plates (PSPs) which are coated with photostimulable material. Upon exposure, the plate stores a latent image which is then scanned by the system. Its patented, built-in eraser has both manual and auto erase functions.
The ScanX Quantum is more economical than cassette based imaging systems and with the dental imaging capability, the versatility of this system is unmatched.
