The c shaped canal seen in lower molars, should be prepared well because all clinicians should remember that these type of canals, tend to narrow in the centre, through the middle portion of the canal , pulp tissue removal from there as also shaping this region is important.

There can be three types of C shaped canal anatomy.. Complete, Semicolon shaped and three distinct orifices.. Its occurance is more common in case of mandibular second molar.. In clinical scenario it is more important to achieve complete cleaning of dis canal..

    Hi
some of them r taken thru a microscope and a camera/video recorder attached to the scope.

Some are taken on my DSLR Camera Nikon D5000.
I usually take the pics from a regular 18-55 mm lens (Although a Macro lens with ring flash is highly recommended – but it costs as much as the basic camera itself…. a bomb!!)

Only difference being i have to crop the camera pics later and its a little difficult getting the right shot of the canals esp. cuz u cant get sufficient light in the chamber
