I havnt seen any dentist using carbide burs..Are these burs actually used in clinical practice? If yes, for what? And how efficient are they?

SS White carbide burs are widely used for dental procedures such as dental restoration removal, pit and fissure exploration, caries removal and preparation, crown and bridge preparation, trimming and finishing, endodontic access, bone contouring for oral surgery, and cement removal. Popular carbide bur brands include Great White, Fissurotomy and Safe End.
