    The Clinical Effect of Scaling and Root Planing and The Concomitant Administration of Systemic Amoxicillin and Metronidazole: A Systematic Review

    Zandbergen D et al. – From this review it is concluded that systemic anti microbial therapy using a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole as an adjunct to scaling and root planing (SRP) can enhance the clinical benefits of non–surgical periodontal therapy in otherwise healthy adults.
