    DESCRIPTION
    Periodontal dressing in tubes. Fast set.
    PROPERTIES
    • Easily mouldable
    • Elastic consistency
    • Patient friendly
    • Supports healing process
    • Eugenol free
    INDICATIONS
    To component material for wound dressing, to cover sutures or stabilize loose teeth.
    DIRECTIONS FOR USE
    Mixed paste is ready to use in 1 minute. Setting time is 10 minutes.

    Irritational stimuli (physical, mechanical, chemical, thermal)

    Types
    1-ZOE cause allergic reaction, burning & redness. (Due to presence of eugenol)
    Zo
    Eugenol
    Zinc acetate….accelerator
    Asbestoslung disease
    Tannic acidlever disease

    2- ZONE no burning or chemical changes
    COE-pack (most widely used)

    Antibacterial preparation

    Ready made:
    Improve healing pt comfort with less odor & taste.e.g.:
    Bacteriocine
    Tetramycin
    Neomycin
    Nitrofurazone
    But all can cause hypersensitivity reactions & opportunistic infections
    Manipulative addition:
    Tetra, HCL cap…..the powder added during manipulation of (COE-pack) is generally recommended.

    Retention of the packs
    Mechanical interlocking in interdental space  additional retention through dental floss & the ortho wires
