A lady patient aged 60 years presented with yellowish white small sized lesions [upto7-8] on the inner side of her lower lip….they did not look like ulcers

She has no relevant medical history..there is no burning sensation..it aggravated when she put salt on it..

We referred her to a physician…but i would like to know any differential diagnosis that can be suggested,,

    Candida

    Herpes

PS: she refused to be photographed so i cannot upload pics

I tell my patients that we photograph every case. furthermore I tell them that ur face is not photographed and only the teeth and oral cavity is.

I make it clear to them we upload all cases on dental discussion forums for a more refined opinion.

    100% of the patients co-operate.

Photographing all cases and referring to them repeatedly greatly increases ur clinical skills.

    regards,

    veeren
