ALGINATE—Immersion with caution in disinfectant like chlorine compounds or iodophors, with short term exposure time..less than 10 mins.Glutaraldehyde may be used but the short time isnt enough for disinfection.

POLYSULFIDE SILICONE—Immersion in glutaraldehydes, chlorine compounds, iodophors or phenolic compounds…Disinfectants that need more than 30mins to act shouldn’t be used

POLYETHER—Immerse cautiously in chlorine compounds or iodophors but only for 10mins duration..to avoid distortion.

ZOE IMPRESSION PASTE & IMPRESSION COMPOUND—Though immersion is preferred spraying of iodophors or glutaraldehydes can be done..However zoe pastes are not compatible with chlorine compounds
