HOLISTIC TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
Today’s practitioners face the challenge of offering a comprehensive treatment plan to their patients. A modern day practice should provide restorative and oral rehabilitation options considering periodontal health, soft tissue esthetics, smile design concepts and long term, stable function. Technology advances aid improved results and expedite delivery of final prosthesis.
This program provides the participants with an excellent understanding of ‘state of the art’ aesthetic dentistry and inter-disciplinary case management along with a clear understanding of the procedures involved therein. It offers an overview of current, evidence-based concepts and treatment plans covering basic principles, systemic implications of periodontal disease, treatment planning and non-surgical/ surgical needs. A special session for understanding advanced laboratory procedures for optimum end results will be taken up.
With 30% time allocation to theory and 70% to practical and live demonstrations, the program poses a tremendous take home value to the practitioner who believes in the holistic treatment philosophy.

Objectives

Day 1:
Smile design, occlusion and periodontal concepts with their clinical correlation in comprehensive treatment planning——-AN ORAL REHABILITATION OVERVIEW
A case of smile designing will be taken up, discussed and model hands on will be done by participants for the case. Further, the same case treatment execution will be shown live.
Day 2:
Smile Makeover
Challenging case requiring esthetic correction will be treated starting from diagnosis and treatment planning; the first phase of treatment with provisional and/ or definitive restorations will bring about remarkable difference in the esthetic outcome. Face bow records and articulation will be demonstrated. Surgical soft tissue procedure and hard tissue augmentation procedure as per case requirement will be demonstrated on patient.

Dental scanner –how does it work?Nuances of each step, discussion of challenges and the right way of doing it.
Day 5:
Restorative procedures
Post and core case for an endodontically treated, badly brokendown tooth
Posterior 3 unit ceramo metal bridge preparation with a challenging occlusal management situation
