thats a great idea.
perhaps u can use a pedo handpiece as it is small to gain access.
once for such a case I used a straight air motor handpiece with surgical bur to clean the caries and get access to the canal.
however the original poster proceed ahead with it only if you are sure that you would be able to do crown cutting.
