    BLANDIN and NUHN’s glands
    These are anterior ligual glands located near apex of tongue and is chiefly mucous nature
    Covered by thin mucous membrane on inferior surface of tongue
    It is a compact package of smaller glands that open with several ducts on the inferior surface tongue

    VON EBNER’s glands
    These are the posterior lingual serous glands located between the muscle fibres of the tongue, below the vallate papillae

    POSTERIOR LINGUAL glands
    They are located lateral and posterior to vallate apillae in association with the tonsils…purely mucous in nature
