Mobiles are a big distraction for staff. Instead of taking care of patients the staff will waste time on mobile phones. Therefore , it is always a good idea to make a rule to debar staff from getting their mobile phones in the clinic.

In case of an emergency the staff can always us ethe clinic landline or mobiel phones to speak to their families.
