clinical report describes the rehabilitation of a completely edentulous 29-year-old man diagnosed with recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (EB). Four implants were placed in each arch, and metal-resin implant fixed complete dentures were fabricated for both arches. This treatment option appears to be favorable for EB patients, compared to other options involving removable prostheses, in that it causes less mechanical irritation to the oral mucosa.
