I strongly feel that photography should be included in the curricullum at an undergraduate level..and so should be the mechanics of a dental chair so that the dentist doesnt have to summon an engineer everytime for minor chair problems..

Dental photography preconferences courses are conducted in many national level conferences,
many books also have been published regarding this topic.
In this era of Digicamera, photography has not remained a technique sensitive subject.

i agree with your view ., ., i remember attending a seminaar on dental implants wherein the speaker said that to become a well known doctor one has to be an expert at photography to document one’s work . ,., capturing images of rare/high order clinical cases also helps in sharing knowledge and upgrading the level of dental practice . ,., as far as it’s inclusion in the curricullum is considered , i agree with you and i just hope the DCI is listening ., .,

I strongly feel photography is very interesting topic which every body should know the basic i handling it.
Since we all get so many of variety of cases in clinic it would be best to have a record of all the interesting and complicated cases, which will help in having a discussion or an second opnion.
since everybody has an digital camera, it would be best in selecting an camera which could be used for both extra oral and intra oral purpose.
