The days of simply throwing up a website and hoping to generate new patients from it are GONE!

If you want to have a dental practice website that will produce high-quality new patients, increase patient retention and even increase case acceptance you must have superb Dentist SEO, well-crafted User Onboarding (i.e., “User/visitor experience must be great on your site”), FAST Page-Load speeds, and a substantial presence on a variety of Social Media Platforms.

If you’re like most Dentists, you have delegated your website responsibilities (and the results it produces) to a company that mass produces “Cookie-Cutter” sites. The Dentist SEO on your site is likely substandard; the User Onboarding nonresistant; Page-Load speeds so slow that you’re losing visitors by the dozens each month and a Social Media presence that’s harder to find than a Sasquatch!

I’ll briefly discuss a few IMPORTANT definitions regarding your Dental practice website and “why” they are important to you. Below you’ll find a link that will take you to our Dentist SEO report and Social Media Online Presence Analysis Tool where you can get a full-report of your site’s performance as well as up-to three (3) of your competitor’s sites.

Dentist SEO: “Search Engine Optimization” deals with how well your dental practice website has been “optimized” behind the scenes so to speak so that it ranks high in the Google Bing and Yahoo! PageRank. Things like keyword usage, relevance of your content, the “freshness” of your content, backlinks (from authority sites), pages indexed, page load speed, USER ONBOARDING (This is VERY Important to Google), and much more that’s too technical to list here.

User Onboarding: When a visitor lands on your site, they expect to able to find EXACTLY what they’re looking for without having to hunt for it. Most of the Dentist websites I see have so much clutter on the home page that it’s costing them a huge number of patients each month as visitors simply leave because it’s too much effort to find what they’re looking for. Does your page load “slowly” or “fast”? Pages that load too slowly are a guaranteed way to get people to leave your site and go to your competitor’s site. Quality content is also part of the User Onboarding experience, and again, the majority of dentist websites I come across talk more about the doctor and/or the equipment than they talk about the benefits and solutions the new patient prospect can reasonably expect to enjoy… and/or the complete absence of testimonial videos from existing patients!

Page Load Speed: If you home page doesn’t load in under 1.5 seconds you start losing visitors. The slower your page load speed, the more visitors you lose. You don’t like to wait and the prospective new patients who visit your website don’t like to wait either. This is also a new addition to Google’s algorithm in determining how high (or low) to rank your page in their search results.

Social Media Presence Online: There are only a handful of Dentists who come to us with a decent (to great) Social Media presence. There are several important components to Social Media marketing and your presence on Social Media Platforms. Simply “pushing” out advertising content on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, or others is the best way to waste time and money as this tactic is completely ignored by users on these platforms. Not having any content is almost as bad because no one knows you exist. Providing QUALITY content on these platforms and providing it OFTEN is the key to your success. Quality content… what’s that? Quality content on Social Media is content that your prospective new patients (and existing patients) will find value in.
