Modus Five is pleased to announce our new multimedia educational program, Sleep Apnea Dentistry: a Patient Education Multimedia Course.

It combines rich interactive content with graphics, videos and animations to create a user-friendly media application that can run stand-alone or from a website. The software was developed with the help and supervision of Dr. Aaron Morse from Central Coast Sleep Disorders Center in Santa Cruz, a 30-year veteran in the field.

High-definition videos show the different stages of sleep apnea treatments, including initial visits, polysomnography sessions, viewing and understanding test results, and pediatric options. Respiratory therapists on video show a variety of CPAP machines available for men and women, and how to use them.

Dr Jonathon Wagner, of Santa Cruz Dental Group, describes dental appliances used as sleep apnea aids, explaining the benefits and methods associated with them.

Sleep Disorder can be licensed as a web application, which can be installed on the website of a hospital or clinic, or as a CDROM for patients’ personal use.
