    A One Day Practically Oriented Demonstration Course 

    Endodontic Therapy constitutes a great part of our day to day dental practice & is a big revenue earner for us. With meticulously done treatment, achieving predictable & long term success is possible. 

    This course aims to educate the participants how they can carry out successful Root Canal Therapy with minimal investment in gadgets/instruments & still get optimal results.

            Practical Demonstration of various procedures on extracted teeth( Carious/ Non Carious)

    Course Contents:

    Lecture & Discussion includes

    diagnosis including radiography, achieving 3d with 2d radiographs, CBCT scan in Endodontic Therapy, use of tooth sloth for crack detection,  transillumination, clinical & radiographical hints to detect coronal/radicular cracks, treatment planning, anaesthesia, caries excavation, access preparation, orifice enlargement & achieving straight line access, cautious application of crown down technique, use of apex locator for length determination, canal preparation techniques, irrigants & irrigation, intracanal medicaments, use of ozone, sealers, obturation,  post selection & placement, permanent filling/core build up, gingivectomy for crown lengthening & or achieving the ferrule effect, crown preparation with definite finish line, temporisation, complications & their management, removal of crowns from RC treated/ non RC treated teeth, explode the myth that rotary endo makes endo easy. use of LightSpeed Rotary System. 

    Practical Demonstration on extracted teeth -both non carious & carious includes

    radiography, use of caries detector, caries excavation, creation of temporary wall(s), access preparation, orifice enlargement, creating straight line access, length determination, canal preparation, use of LightSpeed Rotary System, obturation, post placement, core build up / permanent restoration, crown preparation, temporisation.
