I’ve recently been told that I might need a dentist root canal because one of my teeth has a deep infection. My dentist explained that it could save the tooth instead of removing it, but I’m still unsure about the benefits. Is a root canal really effective for treating infection? What should I expect during the procedure, and how successful is it in the long term? I’d appreciate advice from anyone who has undergone this treatment or dental professionals who can share their experience.
