Having a tooth ache is a nightmare, but what if the tooth ache is because the doctor forgot to take out a needle stuck in your teeth.
According to media reports, Munesh Kumar, a resident of Shahdara in Delhi, has been living with a sharp needle inside his tooth for three months.
The 26-year-old engineer had no idea that his root canal treatment would become a pain of the lifetime.
Munesh had a root canal treatment in first week of August at Hindu Rao Hospital.
He felt pain in his tooth even days after the treatment. He went again to the doctor at Hindu Rao Hospital and he gave him pain killers.
But, when the pain persisted, he visited another dentist for a second opinion. The dentist conducted an X-ray and found a sharp object stuck inside his tooth.
Shocked, Munesh went to the doctor at Hindu Rao Hospital again and showed him the X-ray. The doctor then recalled that the cleaning needle of the dental machine broke during the root canal procedure and got stuck inside his tooth, the report said.
The doctor had filled his tooth and sent me home without removing the broken needle.
Now, Munesh is left with no option but to remove the tooth or the pain will continue as the needle cannot removed.
