The receptionist must essentially have an overall pleasant personality because he/she is the first person that a patient encounters when entering a dental clinic. The receptionist is the face of the clinic.

I think that its the receptionist who creates an inpression on the patient about the clinic functioning…so other than having a pleasant attire it is of utmost importance that she/he be well-spoken and polite…it may not be necessary that they be well versed in english but as long as they are polite, and are able to help out patients in terms of appointment schedules and otehr information and there is no confusion caused, which is the most common thing that can happen in clinics, it will go a great deal in making the dental environment pleasant
