    A student of Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences here has topped the prestigious AIIMS Post-Graduate Dental Examination.

    Arjun Dhiman, a resident of Ambala district of Haryana, scored the top position in the exam, conducted by the prestigious AIIMS for admission to the MDS course.

    Sanjay Tiwari, principal of PGIDS Rohtak, said the results were declared yesterday.

    Meanwhile, Dhiman has attributed his success to the God, family support, hard work and guidance by the teachers of the PGIDS.
    Tiwari said today, “Dhiman belongs to Binjalpur village of Ambala and his father is a Warrant Officer in Indian Air force.”

    The principal said the PGIDS caters to the need of the Haryana as well as neighbouring states and provides dental services almost free of cost to the needy patients and the college is in high demand for the toppers all over India for higher studies.

    The National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi confirmed that the declaration of results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for postgraduate Medical and Dental courses has been postponed. An official from NBE confirmed to media and said, “There is no certain date for the declaration of NEET results yet,” The National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi had conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Postgraduate (PG) Courses from November 23rd, 2012 to December 6th, 2012. Over 95,000 candidates registered for the computer based admission test for the PG Medical courses and it was held at 50 centres in 33 cities across country. Final date for the announcement of NEET results are yet to come. Candidates can check their qualifying criteria for the PG Medical/Dental courses admission across the country and scoring process of NEET PG 2013. Click here to check their qualifying criteria.
