Professor and head of the gastroenterology department at the Super Specialty Hospital (SSH), Sudhir Gupta successfully performed a special endoscopy on a 50-year-old woman patient and removed a dislodged tooth from her throat.

Lata Thakre from Amravati had been running to different hospitals in her hometown and Wardha to get the dislodged tooth out. But all doctors, while advising her to get a specialized surgery done to have the tooth removed, did not attempt it themselves.
